Finance minister Anders Borg will not face prosecution, despite admitting that he paid domestic workers cash-in-hand. Prosecutors have also decided not to pursue former ministers Maria Borelius and Cecilia Stegö Chilò.

Chief prosecutor Kent Madstedt said on Thursday that there would be no investigation into the trio.

Investigations are underway into all three ministers, as well as migration minister Tobias Billström, over their admissions that they did not pay the television licence fee. The investigation will in this case not lead to prosecution, although all three could receive fixed penalties.
