Pre-school faces trade union blockade
The Swedish Municipal Workers' Union has called for industrial action against a pre-school in Lidingö, north of Stockholm. The pre-school has refused to sign a collective bargaining agreement with the trade union.
If the private pre-school Strålarnas does not sign an agreement before January 18th the trade union will begin its action.
Unless a solution is found, the trade union intends imposing a blockade preventing staff at the pre-school from working overtime or hiring new employees.
