A wall of mud suddenly collapsed on top of the man during excavation work in the Mora Park area. He was in a ditch at the time of the accident and was quickly buried under the mud.
The man was not able to make his way up through the mud and needed the help of others to dig him out.
“People worked slowly and carefully to make sure not to injure the man further.
“He had a broken arm and complained of pains in his chest and back. He was taken to hospital by helicopter,” said police spokesman Joakim Caryll.
It is not yet known what caused the accident.
