A man in his twenties has been arrested on suspicion of assault after he allegedly got into a fight with teachers and students at a school in Hedemora, central Sweden.

The fight broke out on Wednesday morning at the Vasa School in Hedemora, which teaches 500 pupils between the ages of 7 and 16. Nobody was seriously injured in the altercation, according to police spokesman Sven Matzols:

"We have so far received six reports of assault, but it is at this stage unclear how the fight started," he said.

Police had on Wednesday morning not ascertained the man's relationship to the school.
