Men hunted after Gothenburg street killing
Two men are being hunted by police in Gothenburg after a man was murdered in the middle of a street in the city.
The dead man, 27, was robbed and killed on Kvadrantgatan in the Bergsjön district on Saturday evening, police said on Sunday morning.
The man was taken to the Sahlgrenska University Hospital suffering from knife injuries. He was pronounced dead on arrival at hospital.
"He was attacked and killed right in the middle if the street," siad Kent-Ole Nielsen of Västra Götaland police.
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
"We are anxious that people contact us with information," police said in a statement.
