An 86-year-old woman in Stockholm was caught for drunk driving on Sunday evening.

An observant police patrol asked the woman to pull over on Baron Rålambs Väg, close to Stockholm University, at 8.20pm.

When tested, the women was found to have a blood alcohol content of 0.02 percent. She said that she had drunk two glasses of wine earlier in the evening.

"If she'd had a bit more alcohol in her blood we would have taken her driving licence immediately. But there's a risk that the county administrative board will take it later anyway," said police spokesman Torgny Wallström.
