IBM to buy Telelogic

International Business Machines Corp. said Monday it agreed to purchase Sweden-based business software company Telelogic AB for $745 million.

After the purchase closes, Telelogic will join IBM's Rational Software unit and report to the unit's general manager, Danny Sabbah.

Telelogic is based in Malmö and has over 1,100 employees, IBM said.
