The body found on Tuesday morning is thought to be that of a man in his fifties whose companions, an elderly couple, were found dead in early May after their car rolled over the edge of a quay in the Stockholm suburb Nacka.
“While looking out from a balcony a resident saw something that looked like a body floating 150 metres out in the water,” said police spokesman Börje Holmberg.
The dead man is believed to have been a business companion of the man who drowned in May. Police have been searching for a man matching his description after he was seen on the quay with the couple shortly before the accident.
Police have said that they do not suspect foul play.
