The category of warning indicates a possibility of flooding in drains and cellars. Up to 40 millimetres of rain is expected locally.
"It's a low pressure system coming in from Poland," explained Eva Brokhöj, meteorologist at SMHI.
A category two warning is still in place for parts of the Jönköping and Kalmar regions. River levels are extremely high and further bad weather could put the public in danger and cause major damage, according to the warning.
