Stepfather appeals rape verdict

A 40 year old man who was jailed for six years for having sex with his stepdaughter 200 times is appealing against the sentence handed down by Skövde district court. The girl and the prosecutor will also appeal.
The girl wants the amount she receives in damages to be increased by 50,000 kronor to 300,000 kronor, while the prosecutor wants the man given a "considerably longer prison sentence", reported local newspaper Skaraborgs Allehanda.
The stepfather wants the guilty verdict for rape and sexual abuse of a minor to be overturned.
