Construction company Peab has received an order to build a new shopping centre and offices in Kungsholmen, west Stockholm. The deal is worth 500 million kronor.

The project, which is being financed by Zeolit Exploaterings, is already underway and is expected to be completed in 2009.

"The old Skogaholm property is located next to Essingeleden with excellent conditions for communication and exposure. The establishment of a commercial centre and offices will make western Kungsholmen more attractive for living and working," says Peab's deputy MD Anders Elfner.
