Boy arrested for child rape

A 16-year-old boy from Värmland is suspected of having raped a young girl under the age of ten on a number of occasions. He was arrested on Monday and court proceedings have been set for Friday.
The boy is also suspected of having broken child pornography laws over a period of eighteen months.
The sexual acts performed on the girl were "comparable to intercourse," prosecutor Sara Westerberg told TV4.
"The crimes were not carried out in a public place," she added.
