Boy safe following 'hostage' drama
Police are investigating reports that a twelve-year-old boy was held hostage by a burglar in an apartment in a Stockholm suburb on Tuesday afternoon.
The flat in Skogås was raided by police following a call from the boy's father, who said he had spoken to his son on the phone. The boy was found in the apartment alone and unharmed.
"No assailant was found on the premises. We are now examining the flat and talking with the boy about what happened," said Joakim Caryll of Stockholm Police.
Around ten police patrols were sent to the area after the alarm was raised.
