The Riksbank is likely to leave interest rates unchanged in February, according to a Reuters poll of Swedish analysts.

Two out of fifteen believed the central bank would raise interest rates by 0.25 percent. The remaining 15 said the Riksbank would leave the repo rate at 4 percent at its next meeting.

The result represents a change in mood since December, when half of the respondents in a similar poll predicted that the Riksbank would raise interest rates.

Since then, there have been mounting signs of a possible US recession and the Stockholm stock exchange has shed ten percent of its value.
