On Wednesday morning, palace spokeswoman Nina Eldh told The Local that the princess was “feeling well” and would be returning home later in the day.
Princess Lilian is the widow of Prince Bertil, the king’s uncle, whom she met in London during the Second World War. They married in 1976. Despite her advanced years, she still performs some official engagements.
