Woman raped in southern Stockholm

A 23-year-old woman was raped in southern Stockholm early Sunday morning. The woman was walking home from the metro.

The woman was walking home from the metro station in Hökarängen in southern Stockholm at 12.30am on Sunday. The 23-year-old was attacked and dragged into bushes.

"The rape was interrupted when a women passed by and witnessed what was happening. The man ran away while the woman rang the police," said to Jonas Hilding at Stockholm police to news agency TT.

The woman was taken to Stockholm Söder Hospital's special department for rape victims.
