Sweden's leading fuel retailers are cutting the price of petrol and diesel in response to a fall in the oil price.

The average price of 95 octane gasoline has been reduced by 20 öre to 13.79 kronor per litre. The price of diesel has been cut by the same amount, and now costs 14.69 per litre. Despite the fall, prices remain high.

At the end of April, a litre of petrol cost 12.99 kronor, while diesel stood at 13.99 per litre.
