A hairdresser in Jönköping in central Sweden was admitted to hospital with bite wounds on Wednesday after incurring the wrath of a client, according to the Aftonbladet newspaper.

The 42-year-old woman initially left the salon in central Jönköping after expressing her displeasure at the cut.

But she returned shortly after and when her demands for a refund were refused she went into a frenzy pulling down a shelf and generally rampaging through the salon.

Before disappearing the woman bit the owner of the salon.

The injured man was later admitted to hospital for treatment for bite wounds.

The woman was arrested shortly after in a nearby store and is suspected of criminal damage and assault.

According to police reports the woman was neither on drugs nor drunk at the time.
