The masked women forced their way into the apartment and forced the female occupant to the floor at knifepoint, and then bound her.

The intruders then rummaged through the apartment, but it is unclear if anything was stolen, according to police.

The female victim, who lay bound on the floor for at least half an hour before she was discovered by her son, did not receive any injuries but was seriously shaken by the attack. While the police did not release a description of the suspected burglars, it was reported that the victim did not know them.

Story continues below…

The police have classified the crime as a personal robbery.

No raping, no kicking on the head, no stabbing - must have been locals then....

how is it a robbery if nothing went missing?
13:27 September 3, 2009 by Beynch
Why is there no description of the `two female intruders`, since the victim clearly `did not know the suspected burglars`. By leaving it out you are perpetuating speculation and fanning the rumor mill. Or do we perhaps have a case of political correctness having run amok here? There are unanswered questions here.

One of the two masked women should must be from Rosengard or from Rinkeby a muslim arab immigrant and the other one was a jew trying to take revenge for the fresh news article.

Me and Erwin have done our jobs and now all those guys hurry up and connect it to religion or racesomehow ASAP, there will be a lot less hatred otherwise.

@ Sparta.. LOL.. Or maybe two lonely Menopaus house wives from Strandvägen looking for a little attention

@TheLocal, thanks for your great job but please, pay close attention to the news heading and the actual content.

The caption says, BOUND AND ROBBED BY MASKED WOMEN but the article makes NO MENTION WHATSOEVER of their covering their facial identity. If it is not clear that nothing was taken, that may mean that they were after something specific. Can't the police dust for fingerprints so that the identify of the women can be easily ascertained or confirmed.

I really see no link between this story, Rosengard or the israeli-organ-harvestors!!!

The story must be all wrong according to the feminists all that is wrong in the world is caused by men .....
22:57 September 3, 2009 by Kaethar
@conboy: ... That is NOT the view of feminists. Feminists believe both men and women can cause serious crimes and suggest that people report these crimes. In several countries men are ashamed to admit being raped by women, for example, because women are stereotypically seen as "weaker" than men. In Sweden this isn't as much of a taboo. I don't see a problem with this, do you?

What about the differences between racist feminists and immigrant feminists? This is a debate not yet entertained on The Local, as far as I can tell. I think it's about time.
