Vancouver 2010 gets underway

The Vancouver 2010 Olympics gets underway on Friday at 7pm Swedish time. The opening events include ski jumping, the men's downhill and Sweden's women's hockey team in action against the Swiss.
The 17 day festival of winter sports promises everything from all action sports such as hockey and skiing to more gentle, but no less absorbing pursuits such as curling and figure skating.
