Sweden Democrats fear Islamic revolution

“It can happen really fast,” said Sweden Democrat party secretary Björn Söder to the TT news agency.

Söder is number two behind party leader Jimmie Åkesson on the Sweden Democrat party list. As party secretary, his role is to stake out the party’s line on key issues.

The Iranian revolution came up as Söder was explaining statements made by Sweden Democrat international secretary Kent Ekeroth, who could also find himself with a seat in the Riksdag following Sunday’s vote.

Ekeroth said previously that “Sweden and western countries are at risk of going out with a whimper” because of the influence of Islam, drawing a connection to 1400 years of Muslim aggression.

Nor did Ekeroth see any real distinction between ordinary Muslims and militant Islamists.

“I think that he brings up a very timely problem and as I see it, Islamification is a question of destiny for the entire western wold,” Söder told TT.

According to Söder, all Muslims are “bearers of an ideology”.

“It’s a political ideology disguised as religion. And I think that it’s a very appropriate subject to address, otherwise we’ll be facing the same problem that Iran did in 1979. It can happen really fast.”

Söder explained his argument by pointing out that the socialists made common cause with the Islamists to overthrow the shah in Iran.

“But when the Islamists came to power, they wiped out the socialists too. And I’m saying that if we don’t take the Islamification that’s taking place in western Europe right now seriously, maybe history will repeat itself,” he said.

When asked to clarify whether he thought an Islamic revolution was possible in Sweden and other western countries, Söder answered in the affirmative.

“Yes, Sweden is being Islamified right now. We’ve taken up countless examples of how Sweden is adapting to Muslim demands and we’re seeing how mosques are popping up like mushrooms from the ground in Sweden and all over Europe. It’s not necessarily the case that we’ll all become Muslims, but that we will have to obey Sharia,” Söder said.

“Through Muslim immigration and rapid propagation, as well as through Turkey’s membership in the EU, Europe can become dominated by Muslims.”

Story continues below…

The theory of a so-called “Eurabia” has been roundly rejected by scholars of Islam, who compare it to anti-Semitic views of an international Jewish conspiracy.

But Söder claims his view isn’t simply a conspiracy theory, and goes on to lament what he sees as Swedish culture’s weakened ability to keep Muslim influences out.

“Unfortunately, it’s been weakened through several decades of ridicule and belittling, which means that its very marginalized and threatened,” he said.

It's good to see other countries have their crackpots too. I think the risk of Sweden becoming German is also high, due to their history of aggression.

I don't fear islam either.

I fear fear mongers.

I fear we are repeating the same history which occurred in Germany.

I also fear the same hate mongers this time around, have much in common with the Nazis of Germany whose misinformation was directed towards the jews.

I fear that some don't see this and believe in their hearts of heart that they are nothing like the ordinary German citizens who bought into the Nazi propaganda.

Lets see.

Sweden Democrats want rid of all muslims.

Social democrats turn a blind eye and passively support anti semitism in malmö.

In France tehy are deporting Roma.

I think I am seeing a pattern starting to develop.

You who do not fear islam. Remember the killing of all pigs in Egypt last year.

"It's a political ideology disguised as religion.

what kind ignorent and uneducated comment is that. These people are promoting properganda againts All muslims in sweden. This is getting so boring so SERIOUSLY

if sweden does not want muslims tell them to get out along with immigrants. Take your country back and kick everyone out. simple as ! Then you can all live happyly ever after !

Im a muslim and seriously i have no political ideology and i practise my religion in my home and i have no plans to make sweden a muslim country not for it to ever be a muslim country, because at the end of the day... its not my country and i have no right to make it into a muslim one. muslim contries should stay as muslim and non muslim should stay as none muslim. but from time, your goverments saying....freedom this freedom that, democracy this , ofcourse your going to see us muslims building mosques, cos we need them to worship and jews building syn and christians with their churches. BUT I THINK THERE IS A BIGGER PICTURE TO THIS BECAUSE BY SAYING ISLAM

Sweden is a western christian country - why cant people who move here not embrace all things swedish - sorry to say but all I see written on these pagess is a one sided litany of complaints about Sweden and denial that there is a problem - disgraceful.

Where are all the moderate muslim commentators who are willing to give a balanced dbebate
17:14 September 17, 2010 by voice of credibility
No reason to fear Islam because it is a religion of peace and harmony according to its true teachings so this silly-minded no 2 of Swedish democrats should have thought better.

We must not accept the same mistake of the Nazis.
17:23 September 17, 2010 by thebittertruth
When the majority of Swedes refuse to embrace christianity, and younger generations grow from homes with neither credo nor belief which is genuinely theirs, then these young generation of swedes become gullible and open to the so called islamisation.

It is a shame that SOME Swedes are now blaming Muslims for believing in a Creator whose existence is questioned and spawned by a Majority of Swedes because of the IT revolution and scientology,

If you cant build your own churches and actually populate them with practising Christians, then stop blaming Muslims for doing what YOU cannot do-.i.e acknowldege the existence of god.

It isnt long ago that one pastor lamented in a local paper that Swedes should start going to Church and refrain from Islamic influences. I simply scoffed at his naivety to really believe that for Swedes who dont believe in God, it takes a snapping of the fingers to order them to church to counteract the Muslim surge in YOUR OWN BACKYARD

Revolutions happens in brutal dictarorships. If Sweden turns to that kind of regime (which is currently far from it but it can be imagines if SD gets 50% of the votes) then it deserves it!

Islamic revolution in Iran happened after a brutal government was enforcing secular values on Muslim people. That's what any brutal government deserves no matter where!!!

The problem with Iran is that it tranformed from a brutal secular to a brutal religious. I hope next time people demand a liberal one so there will no revolution needed!

18:00 September 17, 2010 by diegoveggie
it is true tho that 'islamism' is not a religion. in fact is a way to rule society and government based on 'religious' law. western style democracy, including gay rights, womens rights, free press, etc are out of the picture. i think that in the west people should see this as a threat, especially after decades of fighting for democracy in europe.

people living under sharia law should be encouraged to fight for these basic rights, just as our grandparents did decades ago.

brown people deserve to be free to. democracy is not cultural, but a human right (i say this as a 'brown' person myself, not from any european country)
18:02 September 17, 2010 by Rap43
Islam is not an issue. It is a tool of the neo-fascist movement underpinning the Sverigedemokraterna and their European cronies.

No international connections you say? Wasn't it their brethren in Denmark who hopped into the argument about their television ads? Effectively demonstrating foreign control of the supposedly nationalist party?

"The party was supported financially in the 1998 general election by the French National Front,[49][50] and for the 2004 European election by Belgian Bernard Mengal.[51][52]" English Wikipedia

Don't fear the followers of any religion - fear those fanatics who are willing to use fear to gain power. Those who are ideological disciples of Hitler and his followers.

Sverigedemokraterna are vile, evil and disgusting. They are not a political movement or a political party - they are the thin edge of the wedge that very nearly tore the world to pieces during the second world war.

Yes, it is so correct to compare to the Jews, as they always seek dominance by blowing themselves up in busses and by crushing planes into towers.

There is no reason to fear Islaem, unless you want your children to live like in the 18th century.

``Söder explained his argument by pointing out that the socialists made common cause with the Islamists to overthrow the shah in Iran``, says the above story.

Islam IS the issue! I disagree with all those who say that we're not at war with islam. Read these wise words in last Monday's HumanEvents: - QUOTE A growing number of Westerners are coming to see this as a religious war. If we're not at war with islam, why are Afghan mobs yelling "Death to Christians"? Why are Copts being attacked in Egypt? And Assyrian and Chaldean Christians in Iraq? Did those Christians start a war against their vastly more numerous muslims in those countries? By whom are Christians being killed in Nigeria? What do Mohammed Atta, bin Laden, al-Qaeda, Taliban, Hamas, Hezbollah, Moqd al-Sadr and Ahmadinejad have in common except for islam? UNQUOTE - Is the writer wrong? Who is the enemy? Think about that when you go to the polls on Sunday! See you there!
20:04 September 17, 2010 by USAchick
This sounds like the same crazy, radical, right-wing hysteria regarding Islam following 9/11 in the U.S. I can't believe I am hearing this kind of propaganda in progressive country like Sweden from a political party leader. Seems that I can't get away from it, even by moving away from America! C-R-A-Z-Y.

why is the media giving attention to this pigot? his analogy is unfounded.
20:49 September 17, 2010 by Cornelius Hamelberg
Bigots and pigots are many.

The problems are many.

One of the problems is that some people think that the Almighty has only spoken to THEM.

Even about the Land of Israel, the Almighty has His conditions.

As Abraham of Granada put it,

" For it would have been right for Solomon to have been the Messiah, but Israel took at that time beautiful women as wives and so mixed that holy seed with Amon, Moab, Edom, the Amorites and the Canaanites and other idolators. This great sin of inter-marriage with the pagan nations did they commit. But in all other matters they were whole, unblemished from head to foot. Because of their sin Israel was driven out of the land."
21:00 September 17, 2010 by nic_tester
The problem is twofold, a failed integration and demographics. How many of the people below 35 years of age in sweden today originate from MENA?
21:43 September 17, 2010 by Cornelius Hamelberg
Integration is surely a process for which there should be a programme, a policy, some encouragement. Perhaps a stimulus package could get the wheels turning, but first of all the authorities have to look into what is a complex problem.

Integration in itself does not imply that Muslims start filling the empty or deserted Swedish Churches. Does integration demand that a Muslim must assimilate, start consuming pork as evidence of this? Of course not

@ Frobobbles

I really don't see any connection between Islam as a religion and the temporary measure the Egyptian government took by closing pigs farms!! I wonder what is the tie!! may be u know something we dont know.

Soder says (1400 years of Islamic aggression), I really wonder why do some europeans ignore the contribution of Islam to this world, why only focusing on some bad and ugly incidents that may happen in any culture, why we don't mention the major achievements of Muslim Scientists, Physicians, Architects, and Engineers to the human civilization?, I will not start mentinoing or counting them...you can visit www.1001inventions.com and get to know them by urself.

Finally, I really wonder if Muslims donot exist, who would now take the blame for anything bad that may or may not happen in this world!!
23:29 September 17, 2010 by PorkForEveryone
I was originally thinking of throwing my vote for the pirate party, but SD sounds more and more like they need my support.

As another posted before, a Muslim recites :

Outnumbered we are like lamb

even numbered we are like foxes

in greater numbers we are like wolves.

Its good to see someone opening a kennel for the future of Sweden to lock up all the wolves.
23:31 September 17, 2010 by tuerd1982
There are nothing to fear from Islam, only thing we need to fear are people who are steering the peaceful society and make small thing big or create a conflict.Such as SD.

The media can make anythings happen, don't trust everything you got. Now a days we all are like a piece in a chess game which politicians can manipulate for their behalf.

Bad thing and bad people are not only in Islam, they are every where. If you hate just hate a people who committee the crime not whole community. It is stupidness.

Be smart people.
23:50 September 17, 2010 by Cornelius Hamelberg
We should have great respect for those who with sincerity follow the spirituality of Islam and try to disabuse ourselves of the grandiose and ridiculous idea that we are better, greater, more cultured or more civilised than everybody else, because, we are not.

As His Holiness the Pope said at Westminster today

“The central question at issue, then, is this: where is the ethical foundation for political choices to be found? The Catholic tradition maintains that the objective norms governing right action are accessible to reason, prescinding from the content of revelation. According to this understanding, the role of religion in political debate is not so much to supply these norms, as if they could not be known by non-believers – still less to propose concrete political solutions, which would lie altogether outside the competence of religion – but rather to help purify and shed light upon the application of reason to the discovery of objective moral principles. This “corrective” role of religion vis-à-vis reason is not always welcomed, though, partly because distorted forms of religion, such as sectarianism and fundamentalism, can be seen to create serious social problems themselves. And in their turn, these distortions of religion arise when insufficient attention is given to the purifying and structuring role of reason within religion. It is a two-way process. Without the corrective supplied by religion, though, reason too can fall prey to distortions, as when it is manipulated by ideology, or applied in a partial way that fails to take full account of the dignity of the human person. Such misuse of reason, after all, was what gave rise to the slave trade in the first place and to many other social evils, not least the totalitarian ideologies of the twentieth century. This is why I would suggest that the world of reason and the world of faith – the world of secular rationality and the world of religious belief – need one another and should not be afraid to enter into a profound and ongoing dialogue, for the good of our civilization.

Religion, in other words, is not a problem for legislators to solve, but a vital contributor to the national conversation. In this light, I cannot but voice my concern at the increasing marginalization of religion, particularly of Christianity, that is taking place in some quarters, even in nations which place a great emphasis on tolerance. “

And as he pointed out, yesterday:

“Even in our own lifetime, we can recall how Britain and her leaders stood against a Nazi tyranny that wished to eradicate God from society and denied our common humanity to many, especially the Jews, who were thought unfit to live. I also recall the regime's attitude to Christian pastors and religious who spoke the truth in love, opposed the Nazis and paid for that opposition with their lives. As we reflect on the sobering lessons of the atheist extremism of the twentieth century, let us never forget how the exclusion of God, religion and virtue from public life leads ultimately to a truncated vision of man and of society and thus to a “reductive vision of the person and his destiny” (Caritas in Veritate, 29).”

“Today, the United Kingdom strives to be a modern and multicultural society. In this challenging enterprise, may it always maintain its respect for those traditional values and cultural expressions that more aggressive forms of secularism no longer value or even tolerate. Let it not obscure the Christian foundation that underpins its freedoms; and may that patrimony, which has always served the nation well, constantly inform the example your Government and people set before the two billion members of the Commonwealth and the great family of English-speaking nations throughout the world.”

The Nazi who immigrated to Sweden during WW2 now are awake and this time they are picking up on Muslims.

Many racist parties who are sick in their mind and health, they do not have a big plan to come. All they have a bunch of mentals who are scared of 1.5 Billions and if you ask how many members do you have? they are ashamed to even say i am SD in public or to friends.

Picking up on Muslims and calling upon their hidden Nazi is new trick to collect them all.
01:25 September 18, 2010 by Cornelius Hamelberg
Yes, I followed the recitation of Kol Nidre, three times, this evening:

“the followers of Islam have caused considerably more misery than Hitler or Stalin ever did.”?

Well, to begin with, Islam did not annihilate six million Jews - or the Jews that lived under Islamic protection during the past 1,400 years, because if that had been the case then there would have been fewer Jews on planet earth, and perhaps after the resurrection more in the life to come.

Stuart Parsons, I'm familiar with some of your droppings in Front Page Magazine and here too, you are full of a combination of nonsense and something more foul-smelling than the faeces of a little calf. The only difference between you and the little cow is that you are infinitely more disgusting. The calf isn't. So please, for your own good, do not reply to this.

And yes, I've read the Quran fourteen times, and with the assistance of teachers – two Ayatollahs, a few Sheikhs and a couple of Tafsirs.

Have you?

Perhaps you would like me to make an objective comparison between Torah and Quran with regard to war and genocide?
01:28 September 18, 2010 by Toonie
The same as the Iranian revolution, is it? So that'll be US and UK companies taking over Sweden's natural resources and running them for considerable profit over several decades. The locals will elect an upstanding prime minister called Mossadecksson who'll wish to put an end to this foreign domination, but the UK secret services will encourage a coup to impose a 'Shah of Sweden' who will chuck out both the democrats and the Muslim-Swedish fanatics. The latter will then return in triumph (led by Commenisson) decades later and impose Sharia. Mmmmnyah, don't think so.

'You who do not fear islam. Remember the killing of all pigs in Egypt last year.'

This comment could have the key to it all. Keep a lookout for institutionalised pig-killing installations. A sure sign of Muslims taking over Europe in a highly organised fashion. And whatever you do don't eat bacon or pork. You could be helping finance their operations. Stay vigilant and above all... try to stay sane.

But just in case there's a chance of imposing Sharia law, d'yuh think it could deal with all the cash payments under the table and the black market in city flats. Nah, I doubt it. You can't wipe out a culture that easily.

Swedes need to have kids. Many kids.... otherwise we get into these type of discussions.
02:38 September 18, 2010 by christopherx2
The Swedes think they are being 'responsible' by having no children. They have bought into one of the Devil's lies and are paying the price. It takes childhood abduction and Marxist indoctrination in years of schooling and TV to make a people hate and destroy themselves in this way.

Meanwhile they vote for Internationalists, Satanists and homosexuals who print, steal then give their hard-earned cash to people who hate them, and don't work.

Welcome to the Gulags, white boy! Nice being a slave and paying for other people to breed you into extinction isn't it!

Your Marxist EU politicians import idle criminals and make them citizens because no one with any self-respect, honor or love would vote for them.

The time is overdue to either have the muslims who are currently in Sweden to be fully intergrated into Swedish society as contributing members of society who work and speak the language or to have them moved out of Sweden.

The comments on these blogs with their vile remarks are not from native Swedes. Anyone who comes into another country and tries to assert their ways over the host country is looking for trouble.

The country is awash with those who refuse to assimilate, speak the language or work. They take the benefits that Sweden gives to them and they pollute the blogs with their barely literate trash-talk.

They show disrespect to Swedish women and girls, and worse.

08:46 September 18, 2010 by Iraniboy
^ Revolution can happen in any country when people are under dictatorship and totalitarian government. If Sweden is going to have such government (like SD or Iran in 1970 and now) then revolution is inevitable. If it keeps its current government no it never happens.
08:48 September 18, 2010 by Uncle
Cornelius, go a find out what happened to 1 million Jews in Muslim countries between 1948 and 1952.

One could make a direct parallel between Nazi views of supremacy and muslim views of religious superiority. Both are using the same methods also. As the nazis, the power is in numbers and as the numbers increase, the violence and demands increase also. They are making antisemitic movies, involved in wars all over the world, trying to legitimize this behavior through diplomatic channels.

Nazis always said that this is the racism of others towards the germans that brought Germany to where it was in the 20's. Here is the same tendency.

They also start targeting solely civilians in order to submit the enemy. They target their own dissidents and eliminate them. They also saying that not everyone is a radical, as not every one belonged to the Nazi party. They also choose an outside enemy to cover for their problems. Don't you see it?
10:09 September 18, 2010 by Rebel
Muslims in Albania, present-day Bosnia and Chechnya sided with Hitler in WW2. Ever wonder why the Brits banned Jews fleeing Europe from finding refuge in Palestine? Check out your history of that area and what the Muslims were saying about all the Jews moving to what is now Israel.

God appears to be the problem here... well, God and all those who claim to speak for God.

Religious freedom for all. NO religion in politics or government... including Christian democrats.

Simple really.
12:22 September 18, 2010 by cowboykodp

Well said.

So only the muslims should assimilate. What about all other immigrants. What exactly do you mean by assimilate?

Stop practicing their religion? learn the language? Get a job? Look the way you want them to look? Speak with no accent? Stop taking benefits? Stop having kids?

Because I know plenty of non-muslim immigrants who are failing at at least one or more of the above.

I also know plenty of "Native Swedes" who disagree with your appraisals.

Talk about a revolution is indeed bull. Even in France where there are areas that do not differ from northern Africa, there is no such danger.

All in all, it is about convenience of the locals (if 85% increase in rape stats could be called "convenience").

Just heard a real story from France.

Morning. Line for baguettes. 2 first are muslims in their pijamas, then 2 huge russian blue collars, then a long line of french locals. 12 first baguettes are rolled out. Muslims take all 12 baguettes and leave the unbelieving line on their way to the cashier.

2 russians silently approach the arabs, stop their cart, take 10 of the 12 baguettes, put 8 back into the baguette rack and leave to the cashier.

The entire line APPLAUDS the Russians. There are whistles and "Bravo!" screams. Arabs are quietly paying for the 2 baguettes and leaving the store.

If swedes do not want to be as desperate and as impotent as the french, this is the time to start filtering.
14:17 September 18, 2010 by cowboykodp
As all sane people can see by comment #54, SD and their supporters spare no one.

The French are now impotent, the Russians are now thieves and bullies, and how he feels about Muslims is evident. (Interesting, he did not say this time that the Muslims wanted to steal the bread.)

The SD and their supporters are equal opportunity haters, period.
14:19 September 18, 2010 by Iraniboy

Just for a record. Make a comment without mentioning Muslim/Islam/Arab and your hatred against them!! It seems you can't and then you're surprised when you're compared with those who had the same habit in Germany in 1950s!!!

For people like SD and their followers like you, living and working goes on by spreading hatred, lies and propaganda! We just hope that such people either change their job and people stop feeding such people.
14:20 September 18, 2010 by underskyofsweden
It seems that it's more like a propaganda (media feed) against SDs just in two days before elections in Sweden!
14:34 September 18, 2010 by PorkForEveryone
Islam is like a disease spreading in the shadows - the problem is when someone sheds light on it, and its not ready to fight back it feigns innocence.

All I have to say is, this is wayyyy overdue, I have seen beautiful places overrun by "gods army", with their dirty long beards, stone age thinking, a dozen children behind and wives in a tent with a wee window.

Enough is ENOUGH.
14:42 September 18, 2010 by Icarusty

What did I just say about imaginations?? Go back to the mental institute!
17:26 September 18, 2010 by Kooritze
There,s a lot of haters commenting here! It really saddens me to read such comments.

I certainly hope that these hateful views are not a widespread to the extent that the sweden democrats make huge gains.

I fear the growing anti muslim racist attitudes.........it really sounds like the first steps towards a nasty future.
18:28 September 18, 2010 by locaxy
Cool...I can't wait to have me four wives ;-)

For those who are immune to sarcasm, I think this idiot is doing a lot of harm to SD. I'm willing to bet that it will increase prejudice against "brown" people (just in the remote chance they're Muslim!).

But it's healthy in a way. First of all, comes Monday morning, all Swedes will be faced with having to live with these crackpots in parliament. That, more than any anti-discrimination legislation, will raise awareness of Sweden being riddled with latent racism. Secondly, it'll force Muslims into a faster introspection mode.
18:35 September 18, 2010 by diegoveggie
how can people say that questioning islamic ideology is racist? islam is not an ethnicity, but a man made set of beliefs. like believing in unicorns or trolls.

comparing these swedish extremists to nazis is fair, but so is fair to compare misogynist, homophobic islamist leaders around too many countries to an extremist ideology like the nazi ideology.
18:38 September 18, 2010 by Andersson
@Uncle... your comments reflect the perfect example of "HATE SPEECH". Sweden needs to filter out people like you, and I am sure much of problems would be solved.

Swedish policy in 1970s -- tell Swedes to have less kids but at the same time make immigation to Sweden really easy.

Haha. Seems that my little story here tickled the nerves of few...

What is good to see is what cowboy got from the story. The bottom line... Loved it. I just do not get, are you a kid, or mentally challenged? Mmm.

What is great and wonderful is that there is no world that spreads more lies than that of Islamic one. The thing is that the lies of muslims are so easy to catch. Youtube is filled with movies like "Pallywood". Apparently there is even Wikipedia article about it. As for the propaganda in mosques and muslim media, there is no equal.

You see, the muslim superiority of their religion, forceful imposing of it on countries, the methods are suggesting nothing, but the methods of the nazis. However when someone shoves them with their faces into the truth, all of a sudden everyone else is a racist (even if it is not about race)

I was only talking about convenience of people. One German feeds 3 muslims on average these days in Germany.

Did I say something that suggests that I hate muslims? Not at all. I just believe that a muslim SYSTEM and propaganda is religiously intolerant, closed to criticism and ridicule. It does not consider human life as an important factor if it is not a muslim life. It ejects these days 90% of all terrorists (the other 10% are marxists who support the 90%).

I love the moderate muslims. They are great hosts in their countries. I like some music that originated from muslim world and I love the food. Nothing personal against people. Against their education - yes. Their ideas of purity of their lands and religion - yes. Against them having armed conflict wherever they arrive - yes. Against their propaganda - yes.

Otherwise - great people that shall stay in their lands and continue developing these countries further.
20:22 September 18, 2010 by asim513
Throughout history, Jews have been treated badly by different people. Almost 7 million were killed in last 3000 years. Out of these 7 million, more than 99% were killed by non-muslims. Muslims always protected them and their property. The worst allegation against muslims is that they did/do not treat them as equals. Just search "Pogroms" or "Holocaust" and you will know better.

The best way to judge someone is to observe how they treat the smaller/weaker groups among them. And I can say very confidently and with facts that muslims treated jews very well as compared to the people of other religions.

@ Aunt sorry @Uncle;

Have you ever hunted?

In my last hunt, we cornered this huge vildsvin, he must have been 400 kilos.

He squealed very loud as I took the final shot.

He sounded a lot like you and your SD buddies sound just about now. They have no leg to stand on. They and your kind are hated by all.

Come Monday, whatever happens, SD and their supporters will be squealing very loud as they will enter the history books as just another group of racist, bigoted pigs.

How about them apples?

By the way your statistics are lies, because they contain some truth. ( I cant take credit for that one/ Thanks @Caleb)
21:14 September 18, 2010 by Tamales
@ Uncle- People get upset at the truth. Your posts certainly aren't about SD but it's highly ironic that some of these posters immediately label you with it. It's what happens when one doesn't have a solid argument against what is truth. Everyone knows that Sweden has gone downhill over the last 20 years in terms of crime, safety and overall quality of life and everyone knows why. Sweden and England are both going to be in deep trouble in about 30-60 years if current trends continue and that is real talk.
21:28 September 18, 2010 by cowboykodp

Amigo, you obviously have not read all of @Uncles posts, Otherwise you would not be so quick to defend his sorry ass.

By the way, one mans truth is another mans fiction. It all depends on your motives.

Someone who defends Jews (as I also do) should read the following:

"An investigation by the Expo Foundation, a private anti-racism research foundation, also found local SD candidates who were denying the Nazi Holocaust and signed emails with Nazi symbols"

Ya don't say........
21:41 September 18, 2010 by asim513
@ Tamales you said " Everyone knows that Sweden has gone downhill over the last 20 years in terms of crime, safety and overall quality of life and everyone knows why."

Can you please give some statistics to prove your point? According to my information Sweden is still ranked among the top countries when surveyed for different criteria and different agencies????
21:58 September 18, 2010 by Toffee_apple
@waffen and uncle: well said.

@asim513: Muslims "protecting" and treating jews "very well"? Give me a break! Why do muslims deny the Holocaust even happened? Why would it say in the Koran:

"The Day of Resurrection will not arrive until the Moslems make war against the Jews and kill them, and until a Jew hiding behind a rock and tree, and the rock and tree will say: 'Oh Moslem, oh servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him!'" (Sahih Bukhari 004.52.176)

Great protectors of Jews these muslims are!! Did they go against the teachings of their holy book?

From Mishnah Seven:

“Rabbi Elazar said in the name of Rabbi Chanina:

Torah Scholars increase peace in the world, as it is said:

”And all your children will be students of Hashem, and your children will have abundant peace”

Do not read bono-yich (your children) but böno yich (your builders).

There is abundant peace for the lovers of Your Torah, and there is no stumbling block for them.

May there be peace within you wall, serenity within your palaces

For the sake of my brethren and my comrades

I shall speak of peace in your midst.

For the sake of the House of Hashem, our God,

I shall request good for you.

Hashem will give might to His people.

Hashem will bless His people with peace.”

@Cowboy: Why don't you get out of your all-Swedish Stockholm suburb and spend some time in one of the many muslim enclaves such as Rinkeby, Tensta, Alby, Rågsved, Ronna and the list grows! You wouldn't believe you're still in Sweden.

Although questions in one of your many posts here were not intended for me, let me answer some for you since you seem to turn a blind eye to some of the facts.

Muslims don't need to stop practicing their religion, but they do need to stop enforcing their beliefs on non-muslims, such as: did you know that in some (if not all) Stockholm schools all food given at lunchtime has to be Halal slaughtered even if not all students and teachers are muslims? I bet you didn't know that. And get this...many of the muslim students choose to eat the vegetarian option anyway because they don't "trust" that the meat is really halal. So why have halal for a minority? Why should non-muslims be denied pork for lunch?

Ummmm, why shouldn't they learn the language or get a job and stop taking benefits? Because welfare is so easy to get isn't it? Just come here, say you're sick/unable to work and no more worries. That way the men have time to attend their föreningar throughout the day and the women slaves have time to shop for food and do everything else including taking care of the nine babies that the Swedish taxpayer is supporting. I'm in a line of work where I see this all the time so no need to tell me to educate myself about this (like you did in a previous forum lol).

They can look the way they want to look but the same has to go about non-muslims. Non-muslims should be able to wear for example short skirts or low tops if they like without being called derogotory names by muslims or anyone else.

Well, as for kids, why is it that some people have just 2 or 3 kids, and many others such as muslims have 6 or more? Has it got anything to do with the more kids one has the more barnbidrag they receive? What's so wrong with having as many kids as you can really afford to give them a good life in a caring and loving environment? In my line of work I see so many children who are 1 of 6 or more and are not cared for properly because mum is too busy with being a slave to dad and dad is at his förening (or mosque) and will only take the boys and the boys are bored because they can't be out riding their bikes or kicking a ball around or they're forced to go to koran classes.

I'm not afraid of a revolution but Islamification is happening slowly but surely. Think about it: non-muslims have an average of 2-3 kids per family while muslims have on average more than twice that. In 50-100 years from now who do you think there will be more of? How many kids do you have by the way? :-)

You can take the blinders off, they're meant for your horse... "cowboy" :-)

@ Toffee_apple

Yes muslims have been "Great protectors of Jews". It is a fact that you cannot deny just like the fact that Sweden has not done anything wrong with jews.

Holy Quran is very clear about the Jews and Christians. Look at following verse

"Lo! Those who believe (in that which is revealed unto thee, Muhammad), and those who are Jews, and Christians, and Sabaeans - whoever believeth in Allah and the Last Day and doeth right - surely their reward is with their Lord, and there shall no fear come upon them neither shall they grieve. (2:62 Translation by Pickthal)

So according to Quran Jews and Christians will go to heaven as per conditions set in the above verse. This verse sets the standard for muslims.

The statement that you mentioned is not from Quran but from Sahih Bukhari, that was written 200 years after the death of Prohphet Muhammad and contain a lot of corrupt statements which are not considered authentic.
00:02 September 19, 2010 by superturbo
well, islamists are always keen on demanding their rights in a democratic society. We can learn that from history by looking at how Islam spread across Arabia and beyond.
02:04 September 19, 2010 by Cornelius Hamelberg
Sweden is a multi-party democracy and the SD is contesting this election, legally.

It's one of the SD's big men speaking in this interview from way back in June, and so after reading it, it's up to you, to judge, and to judge wisely, in which direction you intend to throw your vote:

02:51 September 19, 2010 by Tamales
If I were all of you I would listen to what a person directly involved in the situation says. In that case this is Toffee_apple who works directly with these people daily. Why is it that most people who have direct experience with our multi-cultural friends are AGAINST continued receipt of so many refugees/asylum seekers from the Middle East? And why is it that the only Western people who support it won't live in places like Rinkeby? Think about it.
10:26 September 19, 2010 by svenskdod
If people were to actually go out and investigate the literature involved in the subject, they would find that Islam is actually a political doctrine. The Quran reads like a rule book on how to conduct all aspects of ones life. It has even a measure of how many slaves one can take after a battle, and it says that the Quran is for all time and not open for adaptation to modern times.

I have no problem with Muslims. I actually have classmates and friends who are. But, an ideology that is this Racist and meticulous is very similar to the works of another idealist when he wrote Mein Kampf. The similarities of Islam to Naziism are astounding. When Adolf was talking about the final solution he said, "No one will remember the Jews, see what happened to the Armenians."

When you hide an oppressive ideology within a Religion you justify it in they eyes of defamation. It is OK to critique an ideology but not a Religion, WHY? People say that Islam is the religion of peace. It is an almost laughable claim that is the definition of irony.

Islam does not mean SUBMISSION, it means OPPRESSION.
10:56 September 19, 2010 by Toffee_apple
@ asim513

Yes you're right that the quote I gave is not from the koran but from Sahih al-Bukhari. From my research Sahih al-Bukhari is one of the six canonical hadith collections of Sunni Islam and that most Muslims view this as their most trusted collection of hadith. They also consider it the most authentic book after the koran. Sahih translates as authentic or correct, does it not?

How convenient for you to say that the quote about muslims killing Jews is from something "corrupt". It seems anything that implicates muslims is automatically corrupt, a lie or racist.

So if Christians are to be protected by muslims according to the koran why are being persecuted in muslim countries such as Egypt, Iran and Iraq? Why are muslims who CONVERT to Christians treated as outcasts and not allowed to leave their country for somewhere better? Perhaps you should go there to protect them and teach your muslim brothers what you have learnt from your copy of the koran. They obviously missed it!

But wait, what's this? It seems you've missed a few things too or are the following "corrupt" as well? Surah IS a chapter of the koran...

"Prophet make war on the unbelievers and the hypocrites and deal rigorously with them. Hell shall be their home." (Surah 9:73)

"Muhammad is God's apostle. Those who follow him are ruthless to the unbelievers but merciful to one another." (Surah 48:29)

"Fight against such as those to whom the Scriptures were given...until they pay tribute out of hand and are utterly subdued." (Surah 9:29)

"Believers, take neither Jews nor Christians for your friends." (Surah 5:51)

And these quotes are just a few of many many more!
11:07 September 19, 2010 by Uncle

I will only answer the Jews hatred by SD. Go and find "antizionist" party.

This muslim invites muslims, nazis, criminals and whoever hates Israel in one party. Cute. Muslims so far suggested MUCH more horrible things about Jews. Muslims attack Jews in Malmö. Muslims propagandize ALL the Goebbels ideas for a long time already. But you missed that. You paid attention to some private people within SD.
12:01 September 19, 2010 by cowboykodp
The election is today, and I hope everyone who can vote does.

For those who are still confused... No one is arguing the fact that Sweden should have better immigration controls, better integration requirements, and if the people decide then a complete stop to immigration.

This issue however is a lot more complex than saying "Muslims are evil", "blacks are rapist" , "Jews cause all the problems", "Mexicans are murderers", on and on.

It is a fact that Islam is the fastest growing religion in 3rd world countries. Why, because they probably get strength from it when they have no food, when they have no home, when they are getting bombarded "back to the stone age", etc..

When they immigrate to a kind, and loving country such as Sweden they bring their culture with them. They must be shown the benefits of integration and at the same time they must be shown respect for their own traditions. To say they do not want to integrate is a fallacy and lie. No one is suggesting we take their religion and customs.

So, again it is a socio-economic issue, a lot more than it is a religious issue. If I had it my way, I would say no to all religions. But that is not the reality.

For all who now read the Koran and translating it into ENGLISH, this may be a wake up call for you all. It is not meant to be taken literally, just as the Bible, or Torah. They are analogies. (yes that means Muslims should not take it literally either).

As the movie title suggests "Lost in Translation". So lets not read too much into these holy books. These books are open to all sorts of meaning, it depends on your motives. As my dad says, "Most things are like a knife. One can use it to cut a piece of apple, or one can use it to kill someone"

In short, I choose to be an optimist and not hate my fellow man, and his traditions. In time this wonderful country will find a way to integrate and modernize all its citizens. But it will fail if it tries to do this by way of hate, prejudice, threats, misinformation, generalization, suspicion, etc..

It is interesting to note that SD is getting a big part of their support from these supposedly ENLIGHTENED (and spineless) immigrants to Sweden. (including some from Muslim countries.)

Again, as in our wonderful history we call humanity; the poor Jews are being exploited by all. Furthermore denying it will not change the fact that Christians have killed scores more people throughout history than Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Athiests, Zoroastrians, ... combined. You may add, "but that was in the past". Really, was it? Again, it depends which peoples you ask...
12:59 September 19, 2010 by asim513

Yes muslims believe that Sahih Bukhari is "most trusted" but not "error free" as it was written 200 years after the birth of Islam and almost three generations passed on this information orally after death of Prophet . So anybody can understand how much authentic it can be. I will leave it to your judgement. Just think if today we start to write down what Einstein has said 100 year before? I am sure we cannot guarantee even 10% words are reproduced exactly as he said.

Yes muslims are not perfect, they do treat Christians and jews or people of other religions in a bad way and they do a lot other bad things. But at the same time you ignore people of other religions. E.g who killed Gandhi, Indra Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi, who blew Air India flight 182, what is the religion of Tamil Tigers or Irish Republican Army..... Who committed holocaust, pogroms……What is the religion of Hitler, Stalin, Masulini, Bush, Pol Pot…….The list goes on. If you judge muslims by some standard, the same standard should be applied for everyone.

The translation of Quran verses, you mentioned, i do not agree with them. I mostly trust tranlations by Pickthal, Shakir or Yousaf Ali. It is always open to different meanings and interpretations. Look at the translation at following site if you are really interested

e.g the translation for first verse you mentioned is like this

"O Prophet! Strive against the disbelievers and the hypocrites! Be harsh with them. Their ultimate abode is hell, a hapless journey's end." (9:73) by Pickthal

There is no mention of war in this translation as compared to your one. Furthermore every verse has some background. Some were revealed when muslims were in war. So those are only applicaple in state of war.

There is always a bigger picture and it is very clear about tolerating people of other religions and protecting their property and life. At the same time it is also true that people of other religions are not considered equal to muslims. This is my just conclusion after reading religious teachings and history of muslims.
13:22 September 19, 2010 by samwise
cowboykodp, why "Christians have killed scores more people throughout history than Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Athiests, Zoroastrians, ... combined."?

communist evolutionists slaughtered tens of millions in the last century, in peace time; nazi evolutionists caused millions of death in the last century.

Here is an example, the commies can kill awful lot of people in 3 years.

How did you come up with your conclusion? and did the christians kill in the name of christianity?
13:33 September 19, 2010 by cowboykodp

Don't turn this into a religious thing.

You are starting to sound like the Muslims (stereotype) you complain about.

I was addressing a comment by a SD supporter suggesting that "Muslims want to kill everyone and they have done it throughout history."

Heard of CONTEXT?
14:05 September 19, 2010 by Toffee_apple

It's interesting that you mention a whole lot of people who are gone and dealt with. Muslims show traits of being an idealology rather than being a religion and there is a growing population of muslims is Sweden which people are obviously concerned about given all that's going on in the world at the moment involving muslims.

Besides, how did the murder of Ghandi, the religion of the Tamils or the Irish Republican Army (to name a few examples from your list) involve Sweden? The terrorism that occurred in the UK and Ireland with the IRA only affected those two countries. Did the IRA ever bomb anything outside the UK or Ireland? I don't think so. You could also talk about the Basques and FARC, but again they are confined to a particular country. Muslims are all over the world and are spreading their ideaology around. Terror attacks committed by muslims have occurred in numerous locations in almost all continents. All over the world muslims danced in the streets after September 11, 2001 and all over the world they are demanding more and more halal products from chicken nuggets to make-up. They even want the halal stamp on ordinary chocolate bars amongst other things. Yet, muslims are still a minority in their new countries. Why shouldn't Westerners be concerned about islamification?

Again, it's so convenient for you to interpret the koran the way you see fit. Yes, people do the same thing with the Bible, but there is nothing in the Bible about killing followers of other religions. The Bible has "Love thy neighbour" and turn the other cheek. It's interesting you prefer to believe the "nicer" interpretations of the koran while there are still a lot of your muslim brothers who choose to believe what others consider the "corrupt" interpretations. You can't tell me that all muslims in Sweden believe the same interpretations as you do.
15:34 September 19, 2010 by asim513

The problem at the moment is that you try to interpret everything in context of religion when it comes to muslims and don't mention the conflict behind but if a terrorist is not a muslim then you just blame him or his organization.

Muslims in sweden are not forcing anything on other people. It is the corporate sector that is just offering the products that muslim want. No body is forced to buy Halal food, it is just an option.

Bundling all muslims in a same category is just like bundling nazis and christians in same category. In my view, most of the fears expressed regarding muslims are xenophobic and have little to do with realities.

cowboykodp, I hear ya. that's alright. it's just a forum after all. peace out
16:46 September 19, 2010 by Toffee_apple
@ asim513

"Muslims in sweden are not forcing anything on other people." Then...

Why are schools (including preschools) in Stockholm serving only halal food even if not all students and teachers are muslims? In most of these cases most students and teachers at these schools are non-muslims. For me, children who would like to eat meat at school are being forced to eat halal food since pork and meat slaughtered the humane way is off the menu. Another downside to this is that it makes school food more expensive since halal slaughtering in Sweden is illegal and therefore has to be imported.

Also, why is it that at swimming pools every religion except muslims can swim together but muslims need to have their own time, especially women and nobody from other faiths can be there at the same time?

Have you noticed that every time I mention something you can't defend you bring in the racist card or you say "but what about them?" by pointing the finger at other faiths or groups. Yes, other groups carry out things not to be proud of and to be afraid of, but all you need to do to be safe from them is to avoid the area they operate in. You can't do that with muslims because they are everywhere and growing in numbers. They are forcing their ways on other people. Many people are seeing it for themselves.

If there are muslims who are against what other muslims do such as the two issues I mention above, then why don't we hear from them? So far it looks like none of you have any problems with the special treatment, yeah?
19:21 September 19, 2010 by Uncle

First, nice to see that you can engage in a real discussion instead of trying to drown the opponents in names and slogans....

Listen. It is clear to many that neither Jimmie, nor Geert are anti-semites. Yes they pull to them some nazis, just because they are closer to nazis than to commies in their opinion of muslims. But even given THAT, muslims currently are offering much more hatred towards other religions/groups than it is talked about.

As Toffee-apple correctly said, NOBODY from the left wing and NOBODY from the moderate muslim wing criticizes those who call for elimination of Jews, suppression of "crusaders", killing of "crusader and zionist children, since they are future soldiers" and all that stuff that you know about and I do not have to repeat.

What annoys me is that the "normal" world is criticizing self all the time, while muslims support each other without even understanding the situation. Malaysians support Palestinians, yemenese support chinese muslims, canadian muslims support chadian muslims. They do not need to understand or find out who is right and who is wrong. They hear "muslim" then it is the right side. Even moderate ones blame west in creation of Osama and in creation of Iran. THEY are never the guilty ones.

However the WEST is so considerate.... "Oh, they rape 4 times more... but we need to understand... Oh, they wrap their women in bags, but this is their tradition... Oh, they beat their children, but we must feel their needs....Oh they hang minorities, but we did it too 1000 years a go..."

I agree. Christians killed a lot of Jews. THEN I am sure a lot of people would criticize Christians. Now muslims have this hobby. So it is not allowed to criticize muslims, because christians did the same? What is the logic here? So it is fine to kill Jews? It will not be fine only if muslims will manage to kill more jews than christians? Eh?

I want muslims to be answerable. If they have a huge bag of radicals, I want them to look into what THEY are doing wrong, not what OTHERS are doing wrong. The moment I hear it, I will relax.

BTW, I did not even vote SD. Just wanted to support them in some of the points that you ALSO agreed are correct.

Again I am muslim and I never support Osama . But I know who create this evil man... if not uncle Sam leaders :-).... do you dare to give any evidence from who and where this Osama get weapons (not only weapon, but also special military training from great good Army) ?

They fear Russia may overtake Afghan, but they also fear to create direct war with Russia, so they create this Osama and Taliban to fight this Russian army.. it that the real simple story?

And finally, this Osama betrayed them and becone great terrorist..

yeah thats what you got when you give uneducated people weapons and military training.. do you agree?...

What hobby uncle? when muslim kill so many people uncle? give specific evidence...

You talk like a politician uncle.. are you from that party?

To those who say that Sweden is not undergoing Islamification... What do you call Malmo? If Malmo hasn't already been Islamified then what has? Jews can't go there. Christians can't go there. Even police won't go there without more armed escorts. At what point would these deniers finally admit that things are out of control? When every city has been Malmoized?

As far as Jews living under the protection of Muslims... Are you serious? Besides the fact that they are persecuted in every Muslim country, and when they were protected, it's because they paid jizya and lived as dhimmis. If they didn't do these things they were killed. Yeah, some protection.
08:43 September 20, 2010 by jbat
"Besides the fact that they are persecuted in every Muslim country"...

Hahahaha another lie statement from Islam haters?

When do Jews get persecuted in every Muslim country? What do they do toward this Jews people?
11:29 September 20, 2010 by Adele

Agreed, well said, but very scary.

I am also disturbed that someone said that young people in Sweden are at risk of being influenced by Islam because they have no "creed". I disagree, if anything, the less fanatical people are and the less they try to push their religious ideologies on other people (and I'm talking ANY religious ideology here, not any one in particular) the better. I don't see militant Richard Dawkins followers pursuing an agenda of hate.

Sweden democrates are nothing but a bunch of newnazis who want to expand newnaziism in scandinavia and germany. they are trying to harras muslims and other minorities in sweden. they are going to change swedish image as a peace loving nation to a country where innocent migrants from international background are being suppressed again.

They are already harassing muslims in blekinge indirectly so muslims should be aware from them . I will call all the muslims here in sweden and other minorities to bycott them and be united if they try to harass them

Religion is the root cause of most evil in the world.

With Chrisitianity, this has been proven during the time of the Crusaders, the Church in the Middle Ages and the Inquisition. Fortunately by now Christianity has restrained itself, and most Christian nations are progressive and enlightened. As for Islam, unfortunately the same cannot be said. Countless acts of murder and violence are carried in the world in the name of Islam. Of course not all Muslims are terrorists. But no one contests that almost all terrorists are Muslim. At first their acts of terror were limited only to the Islamic nations, yet slowly but surely we have seen them pervade into the West, and this is why many in Europe feel threatened. This is an unresolvable clash between cultures, and the militant Islamists will not rest until the entire 'heretic' world turns Islamic.

Again, not all Muslims think this way, and this clearly does not justify hate crimes against them. But what is missing is the call of moderate Muslims against this madness. The absence of this call is the reason why the West cannot differentiate among Muslims, and fears all of them.
15:52 September 20, 2010 by Uncle

Yep. Nobody is guilty in Taliban creation, but the americans. Nobody is guilty in the violence of muslims than the ones who caused it. Nobody is guilty in the rise of dictators in muslim countries, but the west. Nobody is guilty in the emigration from the muslim countries, but the evil west.

In general, poor little muslims are never guilty of anything. Ever. It is someone else. Always.

But only SWEDES are guilty in SD creation…

If some religion says non-followers of that religion have no right to live, then there is fault in that religion. I have heard that Islam is such kind of religion. So, there is great chance of people becoming fundamentalist and having hatred for people belonging to other religion.
