In brief: “Peking” dominated Swedish football back in the 1940s and 50s, winning eleven titles, however they’ve fallen a long way since then and have spent most of the past decade in the second tier. After winning promotion back to the Allsvenskan a couple of years ago, they finished fifth last season and look like re-establishing themselves in the top flight.
Expectations in 2013: The priority will be remaining in the Allsvenskan, but fans will be hoping they can build on last season’s result.
Players to watch: Icelandic international Gunnar Heidar Thorvaldsson was the league second highest goal scorer last season.
