Quiz: 'The best town in the country'

For this week's mystery location, we challenge you to guess one of the ten biggest cities in the country from just nine clues. Can't be that hard... right?

For this week's click-through picture gallery quiz, we head to a town. And a big one at that. Well, at least by Swedish standards. It's in the top ten in terms of population anyway.

We called the local tourist board for help with some facts, and the representatives were extremely positive.

"At this time of year the climate is great. Perfect for a walk, or you can always take your bike. This town is brilliant for that. In fact, it's the best town in the country," tourist official Marie Åkesson told The Local.

"It's a small big city, do you know what I mean? And there's always a great atmosphere here, particularly now," she added.

A small big city? Is that the same thing as a big small city?

Cagey comments no doubt. We turned to a local resident for a little more information, and he also beamed about the spot.

"I love it here, its a manageable place and it's not too far from anything else. The people here have their own identity, too. I lived in Texas once, and I like to say that this place is a bit like Texas. People are very proud of their identity here. It's the Texas of Sweden."

If you don't already know which part of Sweden we're talking about, click here and take the challenge. Best of luck.

If being rewarded for your guessing skills is your kind of thing, we award 100 points if you can deduce the answer from the first clue, 90 points from the second and so on.

No one has ever recorded a score higher than 70, as far as we know. Let us know how you fared below. State your score, but don't give away the answer.
