"Zlatan will be present," Sara Keusen, press officer of the Swedish embassy in Paris told Aftonbladet about the striker's U-turn.
Ibrahimovic got an early chance to meet King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia on Tuesday afternoon when he welcomed them to PSG's famous stadium the Parc des Princes.
The football superstar plays in the French capital with Paris Saint Germain and had been previously asked to attend a luxury banquet at the Elysée Palace.
Ibrahimovic was due to share the table with French President François Hollande, along with the Swedish royals and numerous other diplomats.
French media reported that Sweden's record goalscorer wasn't keen on donning his tuxedo as he wanted to prepare for PSG's clash with Lille on Wednesday night.
Now it seems that the Zlatan has had a change of heart and will indeed be putting in an appearance at the Parisian bash.
