Sept. 2: Student orchestra welcoming new members (Umeå)

Welcome to the first practice with Snösvänget student orchestra!

The student orchestra Snösvänget and the showdance group Sparkettenare looking for new members for the autumn term 2015. Snösvänget is Umeå University’s orange coloured student orchestra and plays a mixed repertoire of everything from jazz and German hit songs to heavy metal. We are a large group of comp (guitar, base, drums and piano) and a large group of wind players (trumpet, trombone, saxophone, clarinet and flute).

Right now, we are looking for more players who have the knack of trumpet, alto saxophone, trombone, flute, clarinet or guitar as we would like to increase the number of players in these parts. Our motto is “fast and powerful”.

Sparketten is Snösvänget’s own showdance group dancing to any sound created by Snösvänget.
