May 13: Case Solving Event on Sustainable Development

(Stockholm)
The world is experiencing rapid urbanization. According to the UN, over 70% of the global population will be living in cities by the year, 2040. Therefore, the question of how to make our cities more livable and resilient with this rapid population increase has been emphasized in the global agenda. The Sustainable Development Goals also include this issue under Goal 11: Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable.

Keeping this in mind, Engineers without Borders KTH and the Local Networks of Swedish Institute scholars at KTH Royal Institute of Technology and Karolinska Institute are jointly organizing a case solving event with the generous financial support of the Swedish Institute. This event will give you the chance to contribute innovative ideas and solutions for making our cities more inclusive and sustainable with. To do this the participants will be placed in teams and work on a well-described case to come up with their ideas. The teams with best ideas will be awarded with hefty prizes at the end.
