There's a group called Jonkoping's eBay on Facebook that you could try, if you haven't already. There are usually people/students looking to rent out an apartment or room.

I'm sorry, I don't know many, but I did see that you can search rentals through HSB, and there are a few other sites that I listed that I found on a quick search. Are you able to understand much Swedish? If you aren't, PM me, and I can try to help you out. Is there a specific area that you are looking for? I'm in Torpa, which is great. It's a little outside of the city center, but close enough to the busses and trains.
