Quite a long thread, but is it changing anything or going to be at least constructive???

About 1000 or more posts ago didn't the reason for the "outrage" be identified as "sloppy" paperwork???

Why not concentrate on correct/accurate form filling and presentation???

Some more coverage of Migrationsverket deportation rage.

So, is this another of these "invaluable" talents who can work anywhere in the world, who's deportation will cause harmageddon in Sweden?

In addition I find it highly suspect that an iranian who only speaks "adequate" swedish is employed as a sales engineer.

So if your employer submits incorrect forms, the employee should be punished, with no room for correction? And the ruling of the supreme court stating that employees should not be punished because of the employers mistakes means nothing?

That also has been discussed and it isn't right, however, I am sure that individual filings that are incorrect far outnumber the employers...

You have to start somewhere and cannot control the employer's input...

It is at least honest to express you unfounded bias so explicitly.

Now let go back to information about new coverage of the Migrationsverket deportation rage

That was a stretch...

Why does thelocal lie?

He is not a mechanic, he is a car detailer. And he is supposed to be 23?

That's the oldest looking 23 year old I have ever seen.

What a BS story.

Car dealer??????? Why would he even need a work permit?? He got the visa in error in the first place. And yes, he looks at least 30!

There are plenty of Swedes who need his job, who are already unemployed.
Jobs like these are depriving residents and natives.

He got the visa by mistake. Clearly.

Who do you think gave him a job? A Swede? A resident of Sweden? Who do you think didn't apply for his job, unemployed Swedes, unemployed natives?

Some more unsubstantiated claim.

If it was indeed a mistake, someone at Migrationsverket would be punished, right? Migrationsverket did the mistake, right?

My guess as to who gave him the job, someone from the same country of origin who saw a chance to help a countryman escape a hell-hole. Or more sinisterly, someone who sold him a work permit.

Your prejudice are strong, but I admire your honesty.

With judgement like this, it is easy to explain why Sweden has the largest employment gap between educated native and foreigners. https://stats.oecd.org/Index.aspx?DataSetCo...G_EMP_EDUCATION

Below is the ratio of unemployed foreigners over the unemployed native for highly educated people. (1.00 means same unemployment between the two groups, values higher than one mean that foreigners are more likely to be unemployed. The larger the value, the larger the gap in employment):
Australia NA
Austria 2.02
Belgium 2.02
Canada 1.33
Czech Republic 1.11
Denmark 2.03
Estonia 1.94
Finland 1.94
France 1.97
Germany 2.20
Greece 1.43
Hungary 1.15
Iceland 1.99
Ireland 1.65
Israel 1.24
Italy 1.51
Luxembourg 1.34
Mexico 1.13
Netherlands 1.93
New Zealand 1.50
Norway 2.00
Poland 1.72
Portugal 1.20
Slovak Republic 1.34
Slovenia 1.70
Spain 1.60
Sweden 2.86
Switzerland 2.14
Turkey 1.69
United Kingdom 1.42
United States 1.28

The largest gap can be found in Sweden. Congratulation Sweden, land of equality, equal opportunity and all the other PR about your self perception. This is the reality. Does it hurts?

And if the gap was reversed it would mean higher native unemployment...

So hire Swedish is the answer...

It could also mean that Sweden has a higher ratio of foreigners in its population than the other countries...

It could also mean that the other countries only issues residency permits and work visas to foreigners who have actual in-demand skills from trusted universities, unlike Sweden where it seems you have a Phd if you say you have a Phd.
