Good fish and chips

I found T-bone steaks from a local butcher this summer. It was super expensive. I stocked up because they are hard to find. I think six of these (they were really big to be fair) cost me 1300kr! I made one for my hubby's birthday. It was really good - so tender it melted in the mouth. No cut comes close to a T-bone. I cook it very simply - rub garlic all over the steak, lots of salt and pepper, then when you think you put too much salt on, add a bit more. Don't worry it goes away in the cooking process. Of course then you can fire it up on the grill, but I just did it on the stove in a grill pan. Nice and charred on the outside and pink inside. Yum!
