When you say fresh lentils and beans what exactly do you mean? Do you mean the dried ones that you boil in water?

All the large supermarkets that you mention sell these (linser och böner) however sometimes they are tucked away with the health foods or vitamins - or sometimes near the porridge and cereals section

I bought bagged ones in Coop. They can be found in big Coop (forum??) under the "international-imported" isle. Not easy to find, but I found it in 2 Coop forum stores.

Lentils you can find on the shelf with nuts and raisins I think. They are not on the same shelf as the canned ones. I've only seen canned beans though.

I keep a whole shelf stocked with dried beans and lentils that I purchase at Willy's. The black beans and the lentils are my favorites. The red and green lentils cook up fast for a soup, all the others I soak overnight. I do not believe I have ever seen a fresh lentil. I have never cooked anything but dried lentils but I do believe I have seen lentils in a can but I would never touch them myself. The Willy's near us, outside of Göteborg has green, and red lentils, black beans, black eyed peas, kidney beans, chick peas, and so many more that I cannot name but I know by sight. I wish you luck in finding them close to you.

I do not advise trying to eat a lentil until it has dried. laugh.gif
Correct me if I'm in error, please.
