People should be able to take a holiday.

It depends on what it involves as to how safe it is. For example, a family who already live together going to stay in a cabin together and not interacting with others won't make much difference.

I don't believe in travel bans. They achieve absolutely nothing and just cause a lot of aggravation. It's how you behave around other people that counts. Travel itself isn't a high-risk activity. The overwhelming majority of infections happen where people gather in enclosed spaces and let their guard down.

Usually that happens in people's homes. Young people have house parties in Stockholm every weekend. Maybe that's not very clever, but it's going to happen when you shut the bars at 8.30pm. Before you say Swedes are stupid, the same thing happens in other countries. Why do you think countries with vicious restrictions have still seen high death rates?

When a person cannot think for themselves, with facts in front of them, and instead defend a failing system, that in itself PROVES Swedes are not just ignorant and arrogant but that they are plain STUPID. The information is there, staring them in their faces, and they choose to ignore facts.

Is it not realized now, that they are "panicking" and wanting to do some kind of "lockdown", and more Face Mask recommendations, because SUDDENLY, after a year, they say that a lot of people are not following the recommendations - HELLO - its not rocket science!! Before last summer, the death toll was already a whopping 5,500. But NO, they had a "winning strategy" that was the best, because its SWEDEN!!

The Swedes are NOT the "good, following the recommendations" type. It's fine if they want to get sick and die, but the problem is they infect others who don't. It's the same as drinking and driving - if you want to die that's your prerogative, but you may end up killing others.

Now, suck up your shit - More of Face Masks and Lockdowns are needed - and apparently now being "considered" - a little late for the 12,500 dead - in addition to tracing etc. Follow the lead of the smart people in other countries (Australia, Taiwan, Singapore, etc).
