Travelling to London

Do I need visa for UK?

Guys I m planning to visit London, I m a non-eu citizen and I have residence permit to live in Sweden. I know UK is not in schengen area. Do I need uk visa or my permit card is enough to travel ?

There's a handy little checklist there that asks your country of citizenship and stuff like that... it will tell you specifically if you need one for them. smile.gif

London is one of the beautiful city in the UK. Actually I’m really happy about. It’s my mother city. If you hope to visit here, No problem there, you can spend a great vacation.

ps. London is far from beautiful, it's grand, claustrophobic, imposing or historic, but beautiful, no.

Good luck with the visa. The UK Border Agency are renowned for being incredibly slow. Like 6 months+ to review a normal visa and their customer service is terrible.
I dread it every time I have to deal with them.

By the way, plenty of non-English speakers in the UK.
And there are other places to see besides London - get out to the countryside!
