I don't have a clue either why?
Especially since they do not decide the Peace Prize, that is decided by the Norwegian Nobel Committee.

Then again, Norwegians are to Swedes as the Irish are to the English, so maybe that explains it rolleyes.gif

I think in an interview Obama doesn’t even know why he got it... I mean, there was a “justification” but he didn’t even think he deserved it.

I read a story recently how a polish nurse in ww2 Warsaw single handedly saved 2000+ children from concentration camps by smuggling them out... she was nominated but al gore got the prize over her.

She was caught and beaten to the point of having both arms and legs broken. That didn’t stop her.
