(edit title) Telia new monthly charge pay as you go sim Options

So i bought a Pay-as-you-go SIM card over 10 years ago before i moved here permenently, have been using top up vouchers from shops but my local ICA stopped selling top ups. I didnt concern me as i had put a large amount of credit on the phone, and hardly use it.
This morning i get a sms from Telia saying they have taken 15kr monthly charge from my credit.
First thing i have heard about this. The page for "loading" the credit involves paying for data that this old sim is not even capable of using, it does not even identify incoming calls, or can be used abroad.
My point, i bought the sim as Pay-as-you-go, which is sold as having "no monthly charges", so have Telia changed their customer contracts?
After several attempts and 15 mins waiting to speak to someone, and getting cut off, thought i might get an answer here.
