Not sure but I guess they are obliged to make a decision otherwise you can take it to court anf force them to make a decision.

Did it say anything about appealing to court in the letter of rejection?

Hi everyone!

I'm going to apply for citizenship and seems that I cannot even choose the right option on the second page of the application! blink.gif
I'm a non-EU PhD student, became qualified for permanent residency in July 2018, applied for it and got my "Permanent uppehållstillstånd" January 2019. I got the letter and then received the card which is valid for 5 years!

Last month marked 5 years of being in Sweden, and now I can apply for citizenship. Given this information which one of the following options should I choose in my application?

Har du något av följande tillstånd för att bo i Sverige? (obligatorisk)
1- Uppehållsrätt eller Permanent uppehållstillstånd
2- Permanent uppehållsrätt
3- Permanent uppehållskort
4- Inget av alternativen

I think it should be 3- Permanent uppehållskort but to be honest the other two seems the same to me! unsure.gif

Yeah. I appealed to the court and the court accepted my appeal and asked MV to decide ASAP but with no time frame mentioned. That was around 3 weeks ago.
