The same Prague metro ticket is used on all parts of the public transport system except “park and ride”. They are sold from the yellow machines in metro stations and major bus stops or from news stands or from the City Transport Authority Information Offices. These machines accommodate an “English” option for tourists. A full ticket for 30 minutes ride costs 24 czk (approx. 0.98 Euros) , 32 czk (approx. 1.24 Euros) for more than 30 minutes, 110 czk (approx. 4.25 Euros) for a 24 hours ticket, 310 czk (approx. 12 Euros) for 72 hours ticket and 550 czk (approx. 21 Euros) for a monthly ticket. Please do not forget to validate your ticket before entering the public transport. |
