My kitty is sick, and I don't know any vets here. Any advice or help would be appreciated.

Hi Selena,
Don't know where you live but if you are anywhere the järfälla district there is a really good vet out here. Her name is Eva Johansson and the number is 0858011936 I hope this helps and your kitty gets better soon.

The vets at Upplands-Väsby Veterinärmottagning are outstanding. I have been so impressed with their care for my three cats. Wonderful people!

And there is an English vet (Ashley Jury) there as well in case you are happier speaking English.

Good luck. It's so worrying when those little ones are sick!

Hello Selena,

Do you not have insurance? Something like Agria?

If not, then it can be quite expensive. You can ring them and ask about costs - they always tell you and they do speak English.

If it is an emergency, take the cat to DjurAkuten on Kungstensgatan. They are open after hours and are really good, too - very kind, compassionate staff.

Hi,
If you live north of Stockhom I can recommend the Djursjukhuset Albano in Danderyd, some 10 km north of Stockholm. You just go Norrtäljevägen (E18) and turn off at Danderyds kyrka.
Not cheap, but I don't think any vet is, open 24/7 (i think)

Best of luck!

http://www.djursjukhus-sthlm.se/ - I used this one in Bagarmossen, a large and very good vet, just like a human hospital!

http://www.sodradjursjukhuset.se/djursjukhus.html - at Kungens kurver

Theres a good one in Hässelby where my cats had their nip and tuck! small but good.
