Hi,

So we are moving back to Sweden, we are all citizens, have personnumers, etc. And we were told that we can't register (folkbokforing) in person once we arrive. Then it can take up to 12 weeks to process!!!

We will be working and managed to get our 2.5 year old in a daycare starting when we arrive, but they said that she can't start until we are registered. We would be left with no childcare for 3 months which won't work as we have to work immediately.

They said it can take up to 12 weeks, and from experience this could mean 1 week or 12 week. So just wondering how long it took other people in similar situations or just in changing folkbokforing in general.

We thought we took care of this by getting her in the daycare cue in advance so we had a spot when we arrived. We never imagined it would take that long just to re-register with Skatteverket sad.gif

Thanks for any insight!
Thanks

If you are citizen. Use your common sense.
