No posts about Sundsvall?

Or perhaps this is the wrong place...

Well, I used to live in Umeå, and then I thought there wasn't much about, but I see now, looking for anything relating to Sundsvall (my new home), it's getting a bit tricky.

I was just curious to know if there were any people here from Sundsvall. I know of the English Speaking Society, but, well, I'm trying to speak as much Swedish as I can. English is a backwards step smile.gif

Anyone have ideas on what to do for fun in Sundsvall? Would be greatly appreciated.

I have a house just outside Sundsvall.(Korvland) There is quite a good nite life in Sundsvall and shopping at bista city.
At the top of Norra stats berg there's an assault course and you can ski, drink coffee and enjoy the view.
Apart from that I guess there's hunting, fishing & other outdoorsy stuff to do.
I'm normally there July time when I take a sauna, swim in my lake and drink vast amounts of vodka.

There is quite a lot english speakers in Sundsvall because of the university. You can check Sundsvall Express, my website that I uploaded in order to give English speakers info and news from Sundsvall.
There is also a Facebook group there for us English speakers (but enjoy speaking Swedish).
Contact me through the website if you need info or help with something.

I'm keen to move to Sundsvall next year and I've found the same thing, No one really talks about it.

Would be good to chat to a few people who live there.

It seems like the website Sundsvall Express is gone for good. I found the website below, which has pretty extensive information about the city.

I like Sundsvall. Went there in 1987 before I moved to Sweden.

I know the local cycling shop man "Cykel-Nisse" - a legend in Swedish cycling circles.
