All I seem to do is spam this forum with stories of the recently deceased these days...

Anyhoo...The great British Institution; Tony Hart has gone to the great gallery in the sky. Yes, you may hum the tune in his honour.

British folk of my generation knew him as a kindly old gent, who's enthusiasm for hands on artistic pursuits was both enthralling & contagious.

Tony Hart. (15 October 1925 – 18 January 2009)

Never missed it as a kid, not so much for the great paintings by Wendy from Cleethorps aged 5 (painted by her mom really), but I loved Morph.

Am I the only one who thinks he never aged? Seriously the guy looked the same 30 years ago than he did say a month ago.

I loved Morph too. biggrin.gif

Strange how every new year starts with a lot of famous people dying.

Another one to the list is one of my favorites Patrick McGoohan, he is now a free man.
