Cheers to all the lovely ladies! biggrin.gif

When women on all continents, often divided by national boundaries and by ethnic, linguistic, cultural, economic and political differences, come together to celebrate their Day, they can look back to a tradition that represents at least nine decades of struggle for equality, justice, peace and development.

So there boys tongue.gif Wheres your special day? laugh.gif

International Women's Day is another example of how women exploit men for their own gain and are in control of all situations. Men need to stop putting women on pedestals, get their own international day, maybe get a daisy chain going. Any women who disagree are joyless, stupid, have no sense of humour and are rubbish in bed. I know because I'm doing research into this.

The thing is Women are making themselves sound like a minority with special needs, I'd be embarressed if there were an International Mens day. However women are great etc etc.

Are you ready for this? I completely agree.

I received an happy "hallmark holiday" greeting card this morning from one of my co-workers. Not to sound ungrateful, because she truly is a darling, but I was just appalled.

How can we, as women, demand equality and then create special little days for us to celebrate having boobies? I don't mean to offend...but if you want to be treated equally, act that way.

I'm irritated because I really don't like stuff like this. And...I'm irritated because it's completely inane.

Incidentally, I think International Women's Day is a pile of pants. International Oppressed Women's Day maybe, but I'm doing fine thanks and I don't need my own special day to make me feel... actually what? What is it meant to make me feel?
