I have a thread about Bush & Co talking about to create a "information Agency" and Rummy is saying that every criticism of the U.S is Terrorists PR agents propaganda.
That is a good way of silence criticism i guess.

Noone seemed interested in that thread but i give it a try to link it here. There is a interesting Video with Rummy talking to the press and the people of Council on Foreign Relations.

Watch it.

Ooo, he's even more honest than I am!

Respect...

Honest? I can't speak to your honesty vs Dock's.

I believe Dock would win the surly, forked-tongue, retort battle, though.

Who would have guessed?

The first time Dock fired off something acidic, my ears almost fell off.

Oh, that's a funny image. I must remember that expression. My favorite is still "he's got one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel".

A bunch of fascist Republicans try to shout down criticism before it's even spoken? I think Arca has it exactly right.

Sorry folks, no fireworks show tonight.

Republicans welcome the vote... Frist even dared them... no one wanted to join Feingold.. why not? The bluff was called ---

Babycakes...

Just to let you know...Dock is away on business right now. I do not believe he will have the opportunity to respond.

I'm sure he would love to, though.

And here is some food for thought from a WSJ/NBC poll. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/11843383/

I'm looking forward to November. Are you?

QUOTE (FR)
He said censure was a milder form to avoid outright impeachment. I say go for the impeachment. If the leader of the country doesn't follow the rules, why should anyone else. Hold him up as an example and punish him properly for his wrongdoings.

Here's an interesting opinion piece about impeachment:

My favorite part:

QUOTE
Indeed, the U.S. government is one of limited powers with strong checks and balances. Those checks do not vanish in wartime; the President's role as Commander in Chief does not erase Congress's powers or the Bill of Rights. As Justice Sandra Day O'Connor recently wrote, ?A state of war is not a blank check for the President when it comes to the rights of the nation's citizens.?
