![]() This has to be the work of Savage. This profile of Immigrantio8 shows Immigrantio8 has never made any posts yet look at my earlier post it clearly says Immigrantio8. On top of that the profile says "Last active yesterday at 22.01". The other interesting thing is Immigrantio8 made a posts at 17.25 and 21.56 the profile say Immigrantio8 joined at 21.53. With all these deletions and mysterious times there must be some form of security breach at The Local. If it is Savage and Savage has access to make such changes, then The Local is acting very irresponsible. Then there is also an Immigrantio, Immigrantio3, and Immigrantio7. |

User "immigrantio" was banned for a combination of two reasons: 1. being persistently rude to other forum members, and 2. writing with such poor English that many of their posts were not understandable to anyone. They then attempted to bypass the ban by opening seven new accounts: "immigrantio2", "immigrantio3", etc. through to "immigrantio8". These were subsequently banned also, sometimes by admin, sometimes by other members.
Uncle Fred, you have correctly used the "Spam" button to report spammers. This is the blocking action that others have mentioned. You reported spam once two days ago, and a couple of times in February. Maybe you forgot you clicked it, but the actions do not look suspicious, nothing has been hacked. |

Yes I do hit the spam button when it's obvious that someone is trying to sell or promote something.
But I am curious to know how Savage got hold of that blocked list. |

Must say I was fascinated by the speed at which these new accounts showed up, one time I thought it was just a bot. |

When I have reported spam, I have always seen a list of "banned user" reported by "user". Anyone here blocking spammers will appear on the list, and any one can see who blocked who. It's really like a badge of honour...nothing to be suspicious about. And Savage works for TL, so being behind the scenes, can obviously see a the spam list, also. |
