Hello!

My fiance and I live in Goteborg and want to get married outdoors, but are having a hard time researching/finding a place.

Does anyone know of a good place (like a villa to rent, or a bed and breakfast) where our traveling guests could stay, but we could ALSO have the wedding outdoors AT those locations? For example, to rent a villa outside of the city with several rooms that also includes a large yard to get married in (perhaps even with a tent). I have a vision in my head but don't know how or where to arrange it because I'm new to the city.

Help please!

Thanks,
Em

Those were beautiful venues but many held their wedding receptions indoors.

Also, I should mention that we will be a small wedding party, between 15 - 30. (That's why I was looking for a cottage as well. A cozy place for guests to stay but also within the vicinity of the actual wedding and party.)

Any other outdoor places where we could rent a tent and set it up?

I can highly recommend the gardens at Trädgårdsföreningen in the city center. My wife and I tied the knot there 3 years ago in the beautiful "sunken gardens". There are 5 or 6 spots if I remember correctly that the garden caretaker showed us. The price is reasonable, 2000kr for 12 hours full day access and the garden staff arrange the chairs and set them up for you. Obviously there are plenty of hotels nearby, the wedding pictures came out gorgeous in the gardens as well. There are also many large venues nearby to have the evening dinner & dance after the ceremony. Congrats and best of luck!

Thanks for the recommendation. The gardens are lovely...but my fiancé and I are trying to avoid having a traditional reception in a hotel or somewhere like that. We are going to have a pretty small wedding (between 15 and 30). Still trying to find a nice, low key outdoor location. Thanks!

There are a couple of cafes in the gardens Maybe they would cater a simple affair for you . It is a gorgeous spot and getting married in the outdoors is always preferable imo

I know this is an old thread, but did you find a place to hold the wedding? I'm in the same situation and having a hell of a time finding a place :/
