Yeah, I always wondered why "diversity", "equal opportunity" and "country of immigrants" is so important to indians in the US, until the very second they get at a job at WiPRO, Tech Mahindra, TCS, Infosys or HCL, then sudenly diversity doesn't seem to be a problem any more.

Maybe those words aren’t important to Indians in Sweden? Maybe they are still important... since diversity, equal opportunity, and immigration is met when an Indian company sets up shop in Sweden, employs Indians, and then stimulates the Swedish economy. You should be thanking these companies for coming to your country.

Don’t be so upset because you can’t get hired due to having irrelevant experience and that your country has a generation gap... hence needing experienced workers, that don’t exist due to generation gap.

I personally don’t know why any global company would set up in Sweden, the taxes must be ridiculous.

Swedes should thank the superior foreigners for holding up their economy. After all, a small number came in and colonized the work force, at least tech, according to inferiortechskillswede

My boy Gamla also agrees... When foreigners come to a country and dominate then they are obviously superior.

There are loads of senior developers available. Corporations just don't want to pay what those senior engineers charge. Isn't it odd that we never see "superior indians" in roles usually filled by management, where the real money is? I.e. political scientists, economists, lawyers.

Well, Ikea in India has always had imported Westerners as leadership, instead of locals. Even in the Nordics, many American companies have American leadership - and import expats.

In comparison, HCL, Infosys etc actually have locals in leadership positions in the Nordic region - and have plenty of native swedes as workers, but some on this forum have obviously been rejected due to being low quality and underperformers laugh.gif

Yes, we all know that indians dig up some small percentages. Satya Nadella and Sundar Pichai prove the superiority of indians, Ikea in India proves that there is no racial bias.

Sweden digs up some percentage too... nearly 20% unemployment for non natives and nearly 4% for natives. One of the largest gaps in the world.

Obviously, the problem lies within YOU. Not India.
