Hello people!
So, my job hunt in Stockholm is proving to be a little more challenging than first thought. I currently have a job which is only a few days per month as an Event Designer. and I also do modelling. My SFI studies are beginning in the first week of November so I speak only a little Swedish at the moment. My work experience is the following: Australian Taxation Office - APS2 Operations Officer/Debt Collector 2011 Manager of Maggotron - Home business specialising in hair extensions, dreads and cyberlox 2009-2011 JB HiFi - Software Advisor/Processor 2008 - 2010 DJ & Event Manager - 2009 - present I'm not sure what I'm hoping will come of this post, I guess a point in the right direction, or possibly opening up my chance for new opportunities! I've been applying like crazy for many jobs through Arbets, Poolia, Manpower, AcademicWork and many others, with no luck. If anyone can throw a suggestion at me of where/what to try that would be much appreciated, or even know an employer who might be interested. Of course I would be able to provide a full resume - just not comfortable putting too much info on here! Mvh, - C. |

You're into modeling? If all else fails, get into the Swedish porn industry?
 Jokes aside, you'll have to spend at least 2-3 years just learning the language. Any other pursuit is a waste of time since english speaking jobs are usually hard to come by. |
