My suggestion is that maybe we should start ignoring the people trolling.
We already have a slightly dead post on spam.
We could just ignore these people that just post crap and basically just bash everything.
Its a waste of time and it just pops up and makes posts that are more important be unseen

Trolls are a necessary evil...

They provide reason for insightful reply and informative dissension...there are things to be learned and considered...And yes...sometimes they say what is true but not is what we want to hear...Also they can provide comic relief to a many times boring forum...

We need them!!!

Without Trolls this site would be boring. It would just be a help me please with MV etc.

Good Friday and Happy Easter to you all, though a few of you still deserve a crown of thorns, and a small minority should anticipate crucificxion, like in old times. smile.gif

Careful what you say MTF. You will be advocating bringing back hanging next if you continue on that theme.

Actually went and googled Self Raising Flour.
Apparently only Nigella and one article on the BBC were of any note. I would have bet good money on it being self raising instead of rising.
I blame my illiterate parents.

Posted by: Hisingen 13.May.2016, 03:29 PM

I think that you will find that it is only in Hälsinge land that the flour is rising - - - - -

Posted by: Gamla Hälsingebock 13.May.2016, 04:25 PM

Nah, they are too advanced for that old stuff...Self elevating flour is the in thing now!!! rolleyes.gif

Posted by: Bsmith 13.May.2016, 04:38 PM

My flour used to be self rising. Now I have to add leavening.

Where does corn flour fit into this or doesn't it?

Posted by: Gamla Hälsingebock 8.Oct.2016, 03:14 PM

Corn (maize) is a new world has not yet been tested properly for European usage...It is not known if it will work properly elevation wise in European ovens and heat chambers...

Posted by: Mzungu 8.Oct.2016, 04:23 PM

Mmm, precise quantities of ACP and Soda, make ordinary flour into Self Raising...

*just to let you know*

...time for a nice cup of tea!

Posted by: Mzungu 8.Oct.2016, 04:28 PM

If nothing else, maize mixed with water makes a dam good paste for wallpapering...

*don't worry about the next refurbishment*

Won't corn borers attack the house???

Posted by: Mzungu 8.Oct.2016, 05:17 PM

*no borers,concrete house!*

Posted by: Hisingen 9.Oct.2016, 02:08 PM

The only borers I am aware of abound on the forums.

well since my topic went a´wall i can continue by asking if anyone tried to import a whole wheal of cheese recently

Posted by: Hisingen 9.Oct.2016, 05:54 PM

I did a while back, but it got stopped by the Customs, and all they forwarded on were the holes. Dead crafty, those Swiss, making detatchable holes for their cheeses.
