Dear the locals
I am working in Örebro city. Recently, I got an offer for the same job but slightly promoted in Umeå city. I will be promoted to that level in Örebro after 3 years. Now, my question is: how much salary increment (in percentages) is reasonable to consider moving to the new position in Umeå? Örebro is a bigger city and warmer. It is almost 2 hours far from Stockholm (a bus ticket to Arland costs 169 SEK). Umeå is far and I should fly to Arlnda for normally 750 SEK! I would appreciate if you could compare these two cities and let me know how much salary increment I should ask in the salary negotiation? All the bests to you guys, |

If you are alone without family and don't really care for winter activities i.e an indoor person then stickning to Örebro is a good idea.

So what you’re really saying is that if your one step away from Anthony Bourdaining yourself the orebro is perfect for you? It is a comparison between 2 places, that is my opinion. I didn't have a "paradise on earth" as one of the options. Please elaborate more? What is terrible with "orebro"? I meant Örebro btw |

I don’t know orebro... nor care to. You describe it as a place that is good for people who are alone with no family and who like to stay indoors.... that sounds like it is a nightmarish place of lonely people who are afraid of others and life in general. What more do I need to elaborate on? |
