A while ago we had a discussion about electricity as a power source for vehicles...The pros and cons were discussed, one of them being charging station availability...This was not mentioned as a problem then...

Could it be now???

I don't understand the reason for the protest. How are the electric cars threatening the ICE cars?

I'd probably buy an electric car if I could afford to. Certainly saves at the pump and much less maintenance to boot.

I don't understand it either, but what has my interest is the fact that charging stations must be as available as gas stations for the electrics to be truly mainstream in the future...Were are these stations coming from and who will control them???

Also will the oil companies lower gas prices to kill off electric cars???

The oil companies have all the locations necessary, will they allow electric charging at these stations???

I think there is a lot of money to be made here...

Lastly what are they going to use/burn to generate the electricity for these vehicles...coal???
