Lets all just take a moment to reflect on President of the European Council, Donald Tusk and his Twitter comment from the other day.

Tusk is an irrelevant nobody...

The EU will do what Merkel and her toy poodle Hollande dictates.

Lets face it, Poland had a huge hand in creating this Brexit...

Who are the most noticeable face of EU migration?
Which EU immigrants created isolated communities within the UK?
Which EU citizens excel at benefits shopping when migrating to the UK?
Which country vetoed Briton's plan to curb benefits to EU migrants?
Which country stood most to lose if Britton was allowed to curb benefits to EU migrants?

If Briton's plan to curb benefits to EU migrants had not been vetoed, then I think the vote would have gone the other way.

Whilst recriminating against the Poles of today, we should not, however, forget what some of their forerunners did for us during the war. They were some of 'The Few' who helped us when things were really bad. So all was not bad that came out of that country. Maybe we could divide them into two categories.
Steel Poles in the time of war.
Wooden Poles thereafter, or based upon a certain name - maybe ivory Poles - if you will excuse the pun!

No, what the EU should have done is understood that when you create a union of greatly unequal economies that benefit shopping will happen and adjust the rules accordingly.

I say that it's fine for people from the poorer countries go to the rich, but the country of prior residence should be liable for payment of the benefits until the immigrants have worked a sufficient amount of time. Conversely if you are unemployed in a rich country and move to a poor country to look for work, the rich country should be allowed to lower the benefits paid.

If the EU was more sensible with their rules, then perhaps only the hilarious Brexit would have happened biggrin.gif
